• Length: 3-6 metres
• Length tolerance: +0.1 m
• Thin-end diameter (logs): 19-30 cm
• Thin-end diameter (minor): 14-18.9 cm
• Thin-end diameter (minor): 10.9-13.9 cm
• Max. Butt-end diameter: 40 cm
• Simple curvature: 1%
• Complex curvature: not allowed
• Rot: not allowed
• Colouration: not allowed
• Foreign bodies, charring, chemical impurity, damage by insects: not allowed
• Mechanical damage: up to 1/10 diameter
• Drying end-cracks: within the limits of tolerance
• Radial and stellar cracks: les than 1/5 diameter
